I’m Katie — founder of SoftCut Studios.
SCS was born in the lead-up to my own 2026 wedding, when I found myself constantly thinking, “I wish I could just do this myself.” Trust me, I get it. If I could clone myself to capture my own day exactly how I envisioned it, I would. But until science catches up, I’ve created the next best thing: a brand that’s like a second version of you behind the lens, in the background, quietly catching every moment that matters. SCS is here so your friends can keep their phones in their pockets, and you can stay fully in the moment, knowing that your girl is capturing the magic as it unfolds.
Before I stepped into weddings (insert sigh for formal proceedings) I completed a double degree in Communications and Business, and an Advanced Diploma in Screen & Media from SAE Institute. I’ve spent the last decade weaving narratives, ranging from global media campaigns to rural health stories. All of which have shaped my adoration for being able to capture the human experience.
