So, what is it really like to get married?

It is such an odd experience that we aim for creating this perfect day, florals aligned and colour coordinated, music on cue, family ACTUALLY arriving on time (crazy, I know, but it happens!) - yet, we literally have zero experience in what this process should feel like. At least, that is the aim of marriage right? Til’ death do us part. Damn, what a phrase.

Anyway, the point to be made here is that we can’t truly plan for our day, we can create as much intention as we want to stop things from happening, trying to create moments, aiming to just… make it perfect.

So, here’s the thing. Personally, I have only done it once, I only plan to do it once, and therefore even through my experience of working at weddings and having my own - I think the whole point is that it is entirely unique.

That is what makes you as a couple different, that’s why our kids look different, that’s why our houses are styled differently. It is entirely intentional that we cannot make you truly know what is going to happen on the day, and that is what makes it yours (insert love heart).

BUT…

What we can do, is help with the logistics, make sure you run on time for a day that suits you.

Don’t want a long portrait hour? No worries, don’t do one.

Don’t feel like a father-daughter dance? No dramas, gone.
